Meet Heather Deveaux
Over the last two decades, I’ve created a lot of things: books, courses, training programs, blogs, businesses, and ideas — all rooted in a desire to share what I’ve learned, what I love, and what I continue to discover.

Hey! My name is Heather Deveaux, and I’ve spent most of my adult life building learning and development programs for entrepreneurs, organizations, and professionals. I’ve worked with clients around the world to bring meaningful education to life in ways that are practical, accessible, and lasting. It’s been deeply rewarding work — work I’ve been proud to do.
But somewhere along the way, something began to shift.
Like many people, I reached a moment where I started to ask myself what I wanted my days to look like, not just my accomplishments, or my revenue, or my business growth, but my actual days. I started to think about the kind of life I wanted to live, and how creativity had always been at the center of it, even when it wasn’t front and center in my career.
So I began making space for something new. Not a complete reinvention…more like a quiet return.
These days, I’m focused on creating a body of work that reflects my values: time freedom, self-expression, thoughtful contribution, and ease. That includes writing, painting, designing tools and templates, and continuing to explore the ways we grow through making, not just doing.
This platform, Heather Deveaux Creative, is where I’m gathering everything that matters to me now: stories, art, digital products, reflections, and the projects that feel most alive in this season. It’s less about building a business and more about creating a home for the work I care most about — work that’s rooted in simplicity, generosity, and a little bit of wonder.
One of my current projects is Unscaled: A Visual Study in Letting Go — a 12-week self-directed artist residency where I create one piece of art each week around a central theme. It’s an invitation to slow down, make something real, and allow the creative process to do what it does best — reveal what we’re ready to let go of and what we’re ready to grow into.
It’s the most personal work I’ve done in a long time.
My background in education is still a big part of who I am. I hold a Master of Adult Education, a BA in Community Studies, and certifications in coaching and instructional design. I’ve written six self-published romance novels, created multiple business programs, and spoken at conferences about entrepreneurship and education. But this new season isn’t about listing credentials — it’s about listening inward.
I believe in the value of slowing down. Of returning to projects that were shelved. Of following creative threads, even if you don’t know where they lead. And I believe there’s space — and purpose — in creating work simply because it wants to be made.
That’s what this platform is for: to share that work as it comes to life. You’ll find pieces of my story throughout — in my writing, my courses, my art, and the reflections I share on the blog. Some of it will be for sale. Some of it will just be here to take in.
If you’re in a season of questioning, of shifting, of wondering what comes next — I hope what you find here reminds you that you’re allowed to evolve. You’re allowed to begin again. And you don’t have to prove your worth in order to share what you’ve made.
This is what I’m learning, day by day. And I’m grateful you’re here alongside me.
